The Royal British Legion - Family Holiday Breaks For Those In Need

The Legion offers much-needed breaks to ex-Service and serving personnel and their families. If you or a member of your family is recovering from an illness, bereavement or other life-affecting event, the Legion can provide a comfortable and enjoyable break.

-Are you a one parent household because of bereavement or break up of the family?
-Is one parent currently serving on overseas operations or is to be deployed?
-Is one parent caring for a disabled partner?
-Is one parent suffering from mental or physical trauma?
-Have you not had a holiday away from home in 2 years?
-Do you support your household with less than £30,000 gross annual income per year? (excluding War Disabled Pensions and Armed Forces Compensation Scheme payments)

Our Break services are available to serving or ex-Service men or women and/or their dependants who are in genuine need of a break. (Please note that all applications are assessed on a need and means basis).
Contact your local Legion office to apply or call 0808 802 8080 for more information.
